Bourjois Paris Rouge Edition Lipsticks

Hi Guys,

I'm on board with another lipstick review, which are the Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipsticks. They have been in my collection for a while and I was thinking they deserve a little bit more of my attention and decided that they should finally make their way here.

I really wanted to see how they apply and I got four of them in total as I did not want to start with a lot in case I'd end up not liking them. And I must say that I'm quite glad I got them because these shades are so beautiful. I always look to buy them online on Asos when there's a really good deal going on. I believe they retail for around £5 to £7.

Packaging wise, they look really adorable and the bottom part really matches with how the lipstick would look like in real life. ;)

These lipsticks go by names and numbers, which I think is cool for identification
  Shade 07 - Fuchsia graffiti
Shade 18 - Violine strass
Shade 04 - Rose Tweed
Shade 13- Rouge jet set

Shade 07, by the name is a fuchsia pink which I love but I am really not a bright-lip-colour kind-a-girl. What I often do is quickly dab it on my lips for an everyday-wear-summery-pink.

Shade 18 is more on plummy/ berry side. There are days (many days) where I'd rather use it as a stain when I'm in the mood for a berry-red lip. Besides, this is the lipstick I go for the most, among these four.

Shade 04 is a nice pale pink and would only work for me depending the type of makeup I am going for. With my skin tone (NW40), it would look rather like a barbie pink than a more preferred nude pink.

Shade 13 is a very lovely red. It's definitely one of those colour any girl would like to wear to go clubbing. I find it quite similar to the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick 111 in swatches, not texture.

Also, they do have little shinny particles and are not matte lipsticks. They glide on very smoothly on the lips and do have a glossy finish. These lipsticks are very soft and do feel very comfortable. Plus, they carry a quite pleasant smell and also have long lasting powers.

These are the kind of lipsticks you definitely should keep in your make-up collection. If you do already, what do you think of them and which shade should I get from this range? Or are there other lipsticks I should try out from Bourjois? (because Im definitely in the market for that). I'd be more than glad to hear from you.

xx
